IGCA Rescue volunteers will be out and about on Saturday to meet and greet the public this weekend with some of their Italian Greyhound ambassadors who would love to meet you. They will be at Natural Pawz's Bellaire store location this Saturday, February 11. Some of the IG ambassadors will be current rescue fosters looking to find their new homes, and some will be former rescues who have already found their forever homes but just can't get enough attention. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about this wonderful breed, and talk to rescue volunteers about the advantages of adoption. It's always greyt fun!

Pickles is a 5 year old, 17 pound male Italian Greyhound, mostly gray with white markings on his neck/head, chest and paws. His back stands about just below knee-height. He is very sweet and friendly, but occasionally may be timid with strangers. He responds to his name and most commands, and is very loving and obedient. He is not neutered.

His owner recently relocated to Cordoba, Argentina for a job, leaving Pickles in the care of a friend until she is able to fly him down once settled into a house. Pickles was discovered missing after being let outside to do his business in the fenced-in front yard. He was perhaps taken because the gate latch was moved. He was last seen on Osage Street, near the intersection of Morgan and Baldwin.

LOST IG Girl in Cypress!

Lucky was lost on December 31, in the Cypress area, near TC Jester, between Louetta and Cypresswood. She is 2 years old, not wearing a collar, and is mostly white, except for her dark chocolate brown head and face.

She is skittish, so do not chase her. If sighted, please send an email notice or call 832-326-8486 immediately to contact the owner, anytime, day or night. There is a REWARD for her safe return.
